Mentor Works

I am the principal of Mentor Works.

I am a very experienced manager and leader with highly developed leadership qualities and excellent relationship management skills.  I have senior level leadership experience in the health and justice sectors and business management experience in public and private sectors.

I hold an MBA, a Diploma in Business and a Diploma in Professional Coaching. I am a Chartered Manager, a Certified Health Executive and a Fellow of both the Australian College of Health Service Managers and the Institute of Managers and Leaders. I am a member of the Institute of Directors and a Justice of the Peace.

I have worked with clinical teams across a variety of settings including medical, surgical and allied health.  I spent time as a senior health consultant at KPMG - specialising in consultation and consensus development, facilitation and strategic planning. I lectured in Strategic & Applied Management in Auckland’s Unitech’s undergraduate management programme.  I trained in service improvement at the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement and was the first person in the world to implement the Productive Services programmes outside of the UK. I have built and run my own companies in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

I started offering coaching, mentoring and business advisory services some years ago through the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia and Business Mentors NZ and I set up Mentor Works when I moved to Rotorua. I really enjoy working with people and seeing them achieve their goals.
